Hazardous/special waste

This guidance is aimed at businesses that produce waste that may be harmful to human health or the environment. Such waste may be classed as hazardous and have flammable, toxic, corrosive, or ecotoxic properties.

If you are in England, Northern Ireland or Wales, this waste is known as hazardous waste

If you are in Scotland, this waste is known as special waste
