  • Control of Pollution Act 1974 Part 3 (not available online)
    Sets out local authorities' duty to inspect and exercise powers concerning noise abatement zones, and the process for dealing with excess noise and noise from construction sites.
  • Sewerage (Scotland) Act 1968 47 (not available online)
    Requires the water and sewerage undertaker to provide public sewers as necessary for domestic sewage, surface water and trade effluent. Regulates discharges of trade effluent by grant of consent or by agreement.
