What you must do

You must store all liquid wastes securely, in bunded secondary containment areas, where they cannot pollute drains, watercourses, surrounding land or groundwater.

Keep spill kits nearby to contain and control accidental spills. Read more detailed information on bunds in Pollution Prevention Guideline (PPG) 2.

If you transport waste you produced you don’t need to register as a waste carrier, unless it is building or demolition waste.
